Definition
A certificate confirming that a person or company has no outstanding debts with a given entity (tax authority, municipality, water utility). Commonly required to sell property, contract with the state, or close out paperwork.
Example
You can't transfer the property without the municipal paz y salvo.No puedes traspasar la finca sin el paz y salvo municipal.
