RUC
Also spelled: Registro Único de Contribuyente · NIT
Definition
The number identifying each taxpayer before the tax authority. For individuals it is usually built from the national ID number; the NIT is the password that goes with the RUC for the online system.
Example
To invoice you need a RUC and a NIT.Para facturar necesitas RUC y NIT.
