Coronado
Also spelled: Playa Coronado
Definition
A beach area in Panamá Oeste, a little over an hour from the capital, now the second-home destination for the capital's middle and upper class and one of the country's hubs for foreign retirees. It has supermarkets, clinics and a golf course, which is why people say it is no longer a beach but a suburb.
